What is LUT Preview for?

What file formats are supported?
GyoKan uses macOS native media frameworks. Supported formats, including camera RAW files, depend on the codecs and RAW support available in your version of macOS.
Does GyoKan use a lot of CPU or memory?
GyoKan loads media only when needed and avoids processing files until they are viewed.
Actual performance depends on your Mac, storage, media format, and folder size.

Why I built GyoKan Select.
Before editing starts, there is almost no time to look through asset media. Stills, audio, LUTs, and overlays — none of them could be judged without playing, listening to, or compositing them first.
Finder manages files, and the editing application comes later. But with hundreds or thousands of assets, importing material just to decide whether it belonged always felt backwards to me.
I did not want another media library. I wanted the filesystem to stay the source of truth, and a place to understand media before committing it to an edit. GyoKan Select grew out of that missing space.
