Photo Delivery QA Utility

ShooterSync

Review multi-camera deliveries on one timeline.

ShooterSync is a macOS utility for photo delivery QA. It merges JPEGs from multiple cameras by EXIF capture time, then surfaces gaps, camera-level imbalance, and images missing usable timestamps.

macOS 14 Sonoma or later Fully local processing No account required

Problem

Delivered photo files cannot be verified by appearance alone.

Multiple cameras, multiple folders, and multiple photographers.
Simply opening folders does not tell you if the entire event was captured correctly.

  • Critical time windows left uncaptured
  • Specific cameras stopped shooting
  • Images missing EXIF timestamps included
  • Deliveries containing fragmented timelines

Timeline Integration

Review the entire event as a single chronological timeline.

ShooterSync merges photo files from multiple cameras into a single chronological timeline, allowing you to review the entire event at once.

Camera clock offsets can be corrected by selecting two images captured at the same moment.
If needed, you can copy and rename the photos in chronological order to a new delivery folder.

Delivery QA

QA features to verify delivery quality.

Gap Detection

Automatically detects capture-time gaps beyond a set threshold. Each gap is listed, so you can jump straight to the images before and after.

  • 11:42 – 11:58 16 min 03 sec
  • 14:07 – 14:29 22 min 14 sec
  • 17:31 – 17:45 13 min 51 sec

Camera Statistics

See each camera's shooting patterns at a glance: image count, first and last capture times, total duration, average interval, and longest gap.

Camera A 2,341 imgs
Camera B 1,893 imgs
Camera C 718 imgs
Max Gap 22 min

Unsupported Images

Images without a DateTimeOriginal tag are kept out of the timeline, flagged as Unsupported Images, and recorded in the QA Report.

  • IMG_7431_no_exif.jpg
  • screenshot_001.jpg

QA Report

Keep a clean record of your delivery QA review.

Keep a lasting record of delivery quality. Export your review as a QA Report in Markdown or TXT.

Contact Sheet

Contact sheets matching your delivery file numbers.

The printed numbers on the PDF contact sheet match your renamed files exactly. Referring to "Image No. 001" points everyone to the exact same file.

You can also regenerate the contact sheet alone using an existing delivery folder.

Real App Screen

Review 5,000+ images from 10 cameras on one timeline.

Correct camera clock offsets on the left, review the merged timeline in the center, and check gaps, metadata-free images, and camera statistics in the QA Summary on the right.

Once verified, run a chronological copy-and-rename with your corrections applied.

Safety

Source files are never modified.

ShooterSync only creates new copies. Input files are never moved, overwritten, recompressed, or altered. EXIF metadata is never rewritten.
